Job Description
It’s an exciting time to be joining London Bridge Hospital, with these fantastic expansion plans we are actively recruiting for a number of experienced Administration Assistant to support the Imaging Department
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team, the role will be rotational between The Shard and London Bridge hospital, attracting a competitive salary up to £24,500 dependent upon experience 7.5 hours shifts covering hours 8am-8pm Monday – Friday and an occaisional saturday.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet and greet all visitors to the Imaging department to include patients, visiting sales reps and Consultant Users.
- Assist the Consultant Radiologists in the performance of their examinations.
- Register Patients and schedule appointments using the Hospital Information system (Meditech).
- Distribute radiology reports to consultants, GP’s, etc, producing CDs, importing CDs to PACS and any other ad-hoc administration duties within the department.
- Liaising with both internal and external departments.
- Managing correspondence and telephone enquires as directed
- Maintain all files and to ensure that all records are accurate
- Priorities work to ensure deadlines are met.
Skills & Experience
- Previous administration in a healthcare setting.
- Previous experience in a patient facing role.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills able to complete all tasks effectively and with attention to detail.
- Understand of basic medical terminology and patient confidentiality
- Excellent IT Skills. Meditech system desirable.
- Team player, flexible to work in a range of roles with a number of different tasks and responsibilities.
