The Content Writer will work for a global ecommerce company that provides special and often exhilarating experiences to a wide customer base. The business has gone from strength to strength and now has sales in excess of £35 million per year, as well as a double digit growth rate.
A dynamic and creative Content Writer is required to join our client’s marketing team to help write content for their brochures. You will need the ability to write in accordance with a detailed creative brief, steering the tone of voice and style of writing; you need to be able to sell the product whilst remaining informative. A keen eye for detail will also be essential, as you will also need to proofread other colleagues work and check for errors.
As a Content Writer you will:
Write engaging content for the company’s brochures
Optimise content to sell the benefits and highlights of the product
Proofread and edit existing content
Work to tight deadlines, reporting on progress
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role working with writing copy
Experience of writing product content effectively and creatively, with the ability to adapt writing style for a number of different audiences
Impeccable spelling and grammar, with a keen eye for detail
The ability to work under pressure and to complete tasks within agreed timescales and tight deadlines.
The ability to keep track of progress and report to Manager within agreed timescales.
The ability to work effectively individually and within a team
An interest/knowledge of online gifting industry would be an advantage
