Expert Forensic Planning and Programming Director – Dispute Advisory

We have an exciting opportunity for an Expert Forensic Planning and Programming Director to join our Dispute Advisory team in London.


This post will be actively involved with the retrospective delivery of ‘Planning & Programming’ expert witness services involving forensic analysis.


You will be a well-established expert in planning and programming with a proven track record of developing robust programmes from first principals and have first-hand knowledge of all facets of Project Planning and/or Project Controls including; the effect communication of programmes, EVA, risk analysis, assessments etc.


You will have a sound working knowledge of all recognised forms of delay analysis, be familiar with current case law and will have a demonstrable ability to prepare reports that meet the requirements of CPR 35.


Projects will range across the full spectrum of sectors in infrastructure, building and engineering.


Both UK and International Expert witness experience is anticipated, so although based in London this post will entail international travel


Qualifications and Experience required:


Applicants will have a proven track record working as an Expert specialising in Planning and Forensic Analysis together with various appointments on construction and engineering disputes.


– Degree qualified in a construction discipline.


– Preferably a fellow of a relevant institute.


– A proven track record in construction planning, programming and scheduling.


– Fully au-fait with current planning and programming software.


– Experience of working with major clients / contractors / consultants in the UK and abroad.


– Excellent contractual knowledge – JCT, ICC, NEC and FIDIC.


– Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience of giving testimony in court and arbitrations.
