World Leading Global Logistics Co has an exciting opportunity for an IT / Software Engineering Graduate to join their graduate programme within the software development department of based in London, with over 40 locations globally.

This particular role will evolve into a SQL Server Business Intelligence developer. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle and work with the latest cutting-edge technologies. You will also be working to “Agile” development methods.

Responsibilities:
– Designing, building, releasing and maintaining bespoke business systems using SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Cubes, Data Warehousing and other business intelligence tools.
– Developing and maintaining database documentation.
– Getting involved in the consultation between other team members and stakeholders for clarity on the requirement & ensuring the quality standards are met throughout.
– Gathering and translating data requirements from sponsors into SQL scripts / stored procedures / reporting structures.
– Taking ownership of the existing reporting environment and drive changes to improve reporting in general.
– Working in an agile team environment.

About you:
– SQL Server 2005 / 2008 / 2012.
– Designing Relational Database
– T-SQL scripting, stored procedures, performance query optimization.
– SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Cubes, Data warehousing development skills.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Strong analytical, problem solving and issue resolution skills
– Can-do attitude.
