Junior Events Assistant - £22 000

We are urgently looking for a Junior Events Assistant to join a professional Events team in the heart of the West-End. Working at a large National Institute. This is an exciting ‘hands on’ role! The post is paying £22 000.

The team run a variety of events including bespoke courses as well as two day conferences ranging in specialty, size and target audience as well as some regional UK events.

The successful applicant will be mentored by senior staff and will show enthusiasm towards events and wanting to develop within the industry.

The postholder will have a good understanding of all the core aspects of events such as delegate management, speaker management, logistics (venue, catering and AV) and will work with the team to run their bigger conferences. However, in this post the candidate will have the chance to solely manage some of the courses that are repeated a few times a year.

The jobholder will be trained around financial/budgetary components in the role as well as marketing.
