An exciting opportunity has arising to join the MRC Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics within the Division of Psychological Medicine and Clinical Neurosciences as a Research Associate. You will work on an MRC funded programme grant to help identify genetic factors related to psychiatric illness.

The successful applicant will conduct research within the schizophrenia genetics group and contribute to the overall research performance of the School of Medicine and the University, carrying out research leading to the publishing of work in high-quality journals. To pursue excellence in research and to inspire others to do the same.

This position is full time (35 hours per week), is available from 1st March 2016 and fixed term until 30th November 2016.

Salary: £31,656 – £37,768 per annum (Grade 6). It is anticipated that a maximum starting point 32 – £33,574  per annum, will apply to this post.
