Harnham are working exclusively with a leading online brand who are looking to add a Senior Data Scientist to their revolutionary dotcom team. The role will see you utilising your expert skills R, Python and Spark to carry out various optimisation and machine learning projects on real world commercial problems. At this company you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge big data technologies, as well as having the opportunity for more experimental analysis into several incoming data sources for the company.

The Role – Senior Data Scientist

You will be:

• Working closely with the rest of the team to influence the direction of the company through actionable data-driven insight


• Applying statistical/machine learning techniques to recognise trends within vast sets of data


• Driving business decisions with your recommendations to senior stakeholders


• Mentoring junior members of the team to help develop their technical skills

Experience – Senior Data Scientist

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.


• Experience using R and Python


• 1+ years experience statistical/machine learning models


• A keen interest for empirical research and problem solving with data
