A South West London, Rustic British Restaurant and Gastro Pub is looking for a sous chef to join their brigade.
- Serving beautifully cooked traditional British cuisine this restaurant has a brilliant reputation for a great atmosphere and delicious food.
- The kitchen caters for both an A la Carte restaurant and a bar menu and caters for around 60 covers at lunch and 80 for dinner.
- Everything is made fresh in house including in house butchery.
- This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and progress under a very talented head chef.

- 7/8 shifts a week
As a Sous chef you will be helping out with back of house elements as well as helping to ensure that service runs smoothly.
- The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience working a fine dining kitchen, ideally Michelin Star, and be comfortable with the responsibility of maintaining this status.
- Some experience in a management position is required, as well as being comfortable with back of house procedures such as stock take, GP and Staff management .
- You need to be passionate about food, be organised, work at speed to keep up with the fast paced nature of the kitchen, as well as a desire to learn as the potential for career development is huge.
- Your knowledge of British Food should be of a good standard and you should be of a high standard in HACCP and food hygiene.
You will be expected to work only around 7/8 shifts a week and the salary can go up to a generous £30,000 depending on previous experience.
