Starting salary: £40K to £65K basic which will be subject to knowledge and experience in a similar function.

Department/ Division Summary
Based from the Head Office in Wembley, this position is based within a very busy and flexible team. Reporting to the Business Administration Manager, the individual will play a significant role in the development of internal properties and projects.
Purpose of the Role
Responsible for supervising construction sites and running internal construction projects.
The post holder will plan and oversee projects, ensuring that projects are within budget and timescales, and to an agreed specification. The role does involve tasks such as producing method statements and risk assessments for projects. It will also involve supporting the Business Administration Manager, so the individual must have exceptional problem solving, and communication skills, whilst having the ability to work independently and occasionally outside of standard working hours. They will need to have an attention to detail, be confident in their ability and be able to meet tight deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
Production of Method Statements / Risk Assessments.
Showing a good knowledge of health and safety. Ability to find and implement new procedures to assist in the construction phase.
Instructing operatives that work direct and day to day supervision.
Supervision and co-ordinating work activities of sub-contractors.
Interpreting drawings and conveying information to operatives and sub-contractors. Setting out of levels and gridlines.
Ordering materials. Liaising with suppliers and the Purchasing department.
Monitoring programme sequencing works and working to tight deadlines.
Co-ordinating design among contractors, clients, engineers and architects.
Liaising with client / 3rd parties to communicate impact of works and make arrangements to minimise disruption.
Production of simple tender packs to issue to prospective contractors.
Basic use of AutoCAD to produce simple sketches / designs to assist with construction, ordering materials or letting work packages.
Keep records of site activities.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Necessary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar.
Proven Technical experience/ knowledge with AutoCAD
Experienced in civil build or interior fit out.
Potentially a temporary works coordinator (not essential).
Holder of a black CSCS Card.
Must have completed an SMSTS 5 day course.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
