Technical Director - Ecology

Salary up to £65,000+, Bonus and more in London

TGSR is looking to hire an experienced Technical Director – Ecology on behalf of a high profile client

Person Specification

• Have relevant university degrees or equivalent qualification, preferably with chartered membership


• Have strong technical knowledge of ecological science


• Have experience of managing project teams covering various ecological aspects


• Be able to undertake various assessments including HRA and EcIA


• Have good understanding of environmental legislation within UK


• Be able to develop strong working relationship with existing and potential clients

Duties

• Leading and monitoring ecological teams working on various projects


• Preparing ecological impact studies, feasibility studies and scheme reports for projects


• Assisting the team by providing solutions to technical issues


• Developing new business and liaising with clients


• Prepare and review bid proposals


• Prepare financial projections that feeds into business strategic targets


• Assist the team members by coaching and mentoring on technical issues


• Write and review technical reports
