Telecom/ICT Sales- Business Solutions- Public Sector

Our Client


is a well-established player in the managed IT solutions industry bringing together best


of breed voice and IT solutions to business clients in the UK.


They have recently been


awarded a place on the Network Services framework agreement (RM1045) as a supplier to


the UK Public Sector for procurement and are already receiving a lot of


interest.


Role


They are looking to develop their presence in this sector and acquire new customers. To help


them exploit this opportunity they are in search of a telecoms sales professional with solid


experience working with public sector organisations to develop business- via the framework,


prospecting and through existing contacts.


Key Responsibilities


  • Using your existing contacts & experience in the public sector to; develop new business accounts and lead sales effort on new solution sales opportunities

  • create demand derived from a thorough understanding of the public sector

  • engage at all levels within the prospect organisation and gain commitment from key decision makers

  • understand and identify key business issues, budget requirements

  • understand the competition and overcoming prospect objections negotiate contracts including bespoke commercial models and terms in

  • association with our their department

take the lead in proposal generation and driving the opportunity forward


working with technical consultants and internal support to create the


commercial proposition to customers and close orders


work on deals providing a range of managed services, with typical order valueof £50K-£500K


 generate a sales pipeline for the company


 provide accurate and timely information to sales management


 work towards achieving/excelling targets set


Essential Skills


The ideal candidate will possess the following:


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; team player and strong

interpersonal skills. A self-starter, organised and able to take initiative


· Proventrackrecordofworkingonpublicsectorbidswithinthea


Telco/IT environment with experience in selling connectivity, voice, security, and cloud computing services for a minimum of 3 years


  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

  • Use of office products.
