ASD/EBD Teaching Assistant

An exceptional Special Needs school in Barnet are looking for a Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.

This high achieving school caters for pupils aged 2-16 years old who have a wide range of special needs including Autism (ASD) and Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

They have a wealth of resources to hand for students including a music room and a physiotherapy room. Outside health professionals often work with the pupils and they offer additional activities such as Dance and Drama.

As well as some experience or knowledge of Autism the school is looking for someone who is enthusiastic about working with children with Special Needs, if you have worked in mainstream and have had some exposure to children with a statement of SEN, you are welcome to apply. Experience using Picture Exchange Communication (PECs) is beneficial.
