Autism Specialist LSA

SANZA Teaching are working with a group of mainstream Primary Schools that have an Autism Resource Base and are recruiting for experienced staff to work 1-1 with children who are on the autistic spectrum.
The schools are interested in teaching assistants who have experience in any of the following;

*PECS
*Now and Next/ Visual timetables
*Makaton
*TEACCH
*Experience implementing Speech and Language programmes
Desirable qualities

*An interest in Autism as a condition
*A good standard of verbal and written English
*Specialist caring skills
*Ability to develop innovative teaching strategies
*Patience, flexibility and creativity, resilience

*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
*You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
*This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances
(if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any
employment breaks must be explained
