My client located in Sutton is seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic English Teacher to work with members of the successful English department; the ideal candidate will have experience of teaching English to KS 3 – 4 and will support the school’s vision and strategic objectives.

Uniform Education are working on behalf of an outstanding Ofsted 11-18 Girls Secondary school in the borough of Sutton to cover a maternity position. The school will also be recruiting a permanent member for their English department from September 2016. The Ofsted Inspection judged the school as exceptional with outstanding leadership. The successful English teacher must have good interpersonal and presentation skills, be forward thinking, receptive to change and able to work under pressure. You can be an NQT starting out your teaching career or an experienced English teacher looking for a new challenge.
The English Department in this popular and successful 11-18 girls’ Comprehensive school consists of 4 full-time staff. The Department enjoys excellent accommodation with interactive whiteboards in every classroom and priority access to one of the school’s computer rooms. Students begin studying for GCSE in Year 9. The department operates as a close-knit team, with all staff agreeing to their contribution towards formulating policy and supporting the importance of English in the curriculum.
