THE ROLE
To support the Management Team to maximise the sales and profit opportunities for the store by ensuring the stock is managed and maintained according to company standard.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• To ensure the stock and stockroom is organised and maintained to company standard so that sales opportunities are maximised.


• To ensure the Health and Safety of all employees in the stock areas by following company guidelines.


• To consistently demonstrate our Brand Values by being: Friendly, Passionate, Energised, Stylish and Confident.


• To support the Management Team by completing tasks relating to the daily running of the store as directed.


• To organise and maintain the Stockroom according to company standard.


• To support the sales team by accurately and promptly put away stock not sold by them.


• To process deliveries and transfers according to company standard. * To process and store Odds and CSDs correctly.


• To help the management team prepare the stockroom and store for Stocktakes


• To attend stocktakes (this may involve early morning or late evening shifts)


• To prepare the stock for markdown, including de-stuffing and stickering


• Advise the Management Team on the stock levels of slow selling and best selling lines.


• To advise the Management Team on stock levels of stock displayed in windows and key display areas on the sales floor.


• To understand and abide by all policies relating to Health and Safety and stock management.


• To ensure you are protecting Dune stock and property from theft and damage by following all company policies and procedures and reporting anything suspicious to your Manager, ensuring you never put yourself in unnecessary danger.


• To ensure that a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping are maintained within the store by following cleaning routines.

• To ensure that you read the notice boards on a regular basis to keep up to date with company performance and policies.


• To maintain a high standard of personal presentation and professional behaviour ensuring you represent the brand values at all times.


• To continually aim to develop yourself, asking your Manager for support and guidance where needed.


• To attend staff meetings and training events to help with your development.


• To build good working relationships with your colleagues and managers.


• To complete any other duties as reasonably requested by the company to ensure the continuous development of the business. These tasks could include cleaning, administration, sales floor work, and leaving the store for short periods of time to run errands.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
ESSENTIAL

• Strong planning and organisation skills


• Accurate, numerate and analytical


• Written and verbal communication skills


• Highly energetic, confident and friendly and passionate about shoes and fashion


• High standards of personal presentation

DESIRED

• Retail stockroom experience gained within a fashion brand


• Good knowledge of DUNE customer


• Up to date with current trends and stylish in their presentation
