Vanquish Recruitment are currently looking for commercially aware Graduates who want to work for one of the leading Financial recruitment firms in the city.

My client is a small niche operator who move key people within the leading financial organisations. Primarily working within Sales, they cover derivatives – all asset classes, structuring and trading. They currently work within Europe, although they have markets mapped and are actively completing deals across Asia as well.

The difference between this and other search firms is the length of time it will take you to become a full consultant. Initially working alongside the current top biller you will be trained on all aspects of the Financial markets. You will be required to source names and map companies (researching) in order to find out who the key people are in competitors to your clients.

You are there to support one of the lead consultants, however if you prove yourself over the first 12 months you could be a consultant in your own right soon after. Compare this to other Search firms when it can take upwards of 4 years to become a consultant and you will see what an amazing opportunity this is.

You will be a Graduate and ideally have some background / education relating to Finance. You will need at least a 2.1 degree (or above) with a track record of success and overachievement – ideally some sales experience, although this is not essential.

You receive full training for this role and you will not be expected to have any previous recruitment experience. What you must have is the tenacity and motivation to succeed in this fast paced environment.

In terms of rewards you will receive a basic salary of up to £25k. You will receive commission on all deals that you have a part in from day 1, 1st year OTE will be £50k+
