IT Strategy Consultant – Financial Services- London

Our client is a well established and highly respected International business consultancy. They are often voted as one of the best consultancies to work for by employees. Their UK division has expanded by nearly 30% in the last year and as result they are currently looking for an IT Strategy Consultant to help financial services and banking organisations find strategic value from IT through the optimal alignment of their business goals and their IT solutions.

Positions responsibilities
As a IT Strategy Consultant you will be advising financial services and banking clients on all aspects of IT operating models and IT ROI.

Experience required
Experience of implementing best practice standards e.g. ITIL, CoBIT..
•Technology background with early career hands on technical experience.
•Successful delivery of significant projects within Banking and/or Insurance, ideally within the last 3 years.
•Consultancy background or equivalent experience in change and transformation project environment.
•Strong stakeholder management experience including experience dealing with and resenting to senior management.
•Demonstrable level of seniority and frequent interaction with the C suite
•Meaningful people management experience (including 3rd party offshore personnel)
•Sound knowledge of project planning and control techniques as well as demonstrable experience of budget and resource allocation responsibility.
•Experience leading/working on RFPs and RFIs.
