Senior Management Accountant - Technology Company
My client a global FTSE 250 listed company based in one of Londons largest Financial Hubs is looking to recruit a Global Allocations Accountant to join its growing management Accounts department. Responsible for the allocation of a £300 million cost base. Sitting within a large and growing finance team you will have the opportunity to progress quickly in this role to more senior position.
Sitting within the allocations team, you will be responsible maintaining an accurate allocations process for the business. You will be reviewing and challenging data process flows both in and out of the allocations model, maintain and developing controls and producing concise reporting across the division. The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA or CIMA qualified and will have had exposure to the allocation of costs at a large company.
Key responsibilities.
- Facilitate maintenance of the key inputs into the global allocations model.
- Ensure infrastructure costs are fully and accurately allocated through HPCM, in a timely manner.
- Review and challenge the output of the allocations model to ensure accuracy of postings.
- Investigate and respond to queries from the business.
- Process changes in a controlled manner, understanding the downstream impact.
- Produce monthly reporting to the businesses.
- Produce periodical debit notes to the regional centres.
- Build and develop models which fall outside of the global tool, using a variety of data mining applications.
The ideal candidate:
- Skilled in all Microsoft applications
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA – from a large practice or international business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Hyperion is useful but not essential.
