Management Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified, qualified or qualified by experience accountant who is ambitious and has experience in the production of management accounts. This is a newly created role as a management accountant within a fast-paced, growing group of companies. Working as a hands on accountant and reporting to the Financial Director, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow in this role, to include, management of a team and development of your commercial knowledge.

Here are some of the core areas that this management accountant role will encompass:

• Completion of monthly management accounts


• Annual budgets and forecasts


• Variance analysis


• Project / job costing / cost accounting


• Revenue management – maximising billable revenue


• Credit control of key clients and management of their requirements


• Working with Operations team to ensure key client requirements are met on time


• Experience in Balance Sheet reconciliation


• Meeting monthly / weekly deadlines for key clients


• Staff management experience – supervising part time Finance Assistant


• Deputising for Finance Director
