Multi-tasked Handyman in Central London, start in January 2016
PVL Properties is a Central London Property Management Company specialising in residential properties in London’s best addresses and postcodes. The managed residential buildings are located in the centre of London.
Due to the business expansion we are looking for a Multi-tasked handyman.
The handyman will have overall responsibility for the day to day maintenance, reactive and preventative. He will be expected to work with residential buildings and the individual flats, ensuring all works are delivered to a high standard and completed within time frames.
Working hours: full time hours set between 9am to 6pm, however flexibility is essential
Preferably the ideal candidate has his own set of tools and vehicle, however further negotiations can be arranged.
The role of the Handyman will be general maintenance of equipment and buildings, including although not limited to:
- Site improvement work, painting, decorating, basic plumbing
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on buildings and facilities
- Carrying out safety reviews and checks to ensure the buildings are safe and tidy
- Identify areas that may require specialist maintenance or repair
- To keep the common parts and vacant units clean and well repaired.
- Work with the Building Management team’s computer aided maintenance management software, responding to, escalating, recording and closing down tasks
Required skills:
- Multi trade experience
- Conversant with current H&S legislation
- Good time management skills
- Organised and tidy when working
- Good communication skills
- Full UK drivers license
- Self-motivated, pro-active and flexible at all times
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent customer care skills
- Attention to details
