Paralegal - City Law Firm (Temp to Perm)
A leading law firm is seeking a Paralegal to join their busy and expanding Litigation team.
The firm specialises in the provision of advocacy services in the county courts throughout England and Wales. The successful candidate will work with a team of Litigation Solicitors and will be responsible for assisting with all tasks related to the provision of the litigation service.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of dealing with professional clients (ideally gained in a legal environment) and will have completed the Legal Practise Course. They will have strong attention to detail, an organised and professional approach and a can do attitude.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing case documents including drafting notices, particulars of claim and witness statements.
Filing case files.
Operate case management system as and where appropriate..
Assisting with the service provided to clients including responsibility for answering the help lines and responding to requests for call backs via the website.
Assisting with the maintenance of all case management files, including opening, reviewing, and closing where appropriate.
Drafting invoices.
Keeping up to date with developments in civil law and procedure.
Assisting the Head of Department with the management of contracts as required.
Responding to queries from clients and advocates.
Assisting the Head of Department with the maintenance of Credit Control files.
Ad hoc administrative tasks as requested.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am and 6:00 pm (on a rotational basis) with 1 hour for lunch.
