Contract Manager – Fire & Security

Alecto Recruitment are currently representing a highly reputable and well established Fire Alarm, Security and Structured Data Cabling Company based in the City of London, now seeking an experienced technical Manager to join their team.

My client offer a comprehensive range of services including Fire, Security and Data requirement, from design, supply and installation through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, but due to continued success are now in a period of organic growth.

The Role:

As technical manager, you will working in this office based role, joining a team of project managers, contract managers and commissioning engineers to deliver front of house services to clients across the UK.

The role of Technical Manager will be very much front end; ensuring designs are correct, drawings are accurate, projects are released on time, handover packages are released and much more.

An element of the role will also include Project management if this is something of interest, but in general this is a very diverse and technical role covering many aspects of the entire process.

The Candidate:

• To be considered for this role, you must be a technically minded and experienced Fire or Security engineer, with good knowledge or Project / Contract management.


• Experience with both Fire and Security is desirable, but knowledge of just Fire Alarm systems will also be sufficient.


• Great knowledge of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Fire alarms.


• This role will ideally suit a time served and experienced senior engineer now seeking career progression, or someone working in a similar role.


• Must live within commutable distance of central London (Car or Train)


• Happy working in an office based role.


• Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office, and personable telephone manner.

Package:

• 35,000 – 40,000 per annum


• Travel expenses to and from the office paid


• Bonus
