Psychology Technician

The School of Social and Life Sciences at Glyndŵr University is looking for a Psychology Technician to support our teaching and research activities. 

The suitable candidate will have experience in working in a psychology lab or similar environment and hold a minimum of a HNC level technical qualification or equivalent experience gained through undergraduate education in psychology or related area. They should be familiar with specialised computer packages that support the collection, presentation and analysis of data in psychology and familiarity of the use of on-line learning environments. 

The candidate should be able to communicate effectively, have excellent organisational skills and demonstrate the ability to work to targets. The candidate should demonstrate an existing interest in learning and teaching in Psychology and the ability to maintain accurate documentation. 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a thriving psychology research environment with approximately 150 undergraduate and 50 post graduate students and will be encouraged to undertake further study to support their own professional development.
