We are looking for Nurses RGN or RMN qualified to join our progressive team at our purpose built home in Fulham.

The Home
Farm Lane is a modern and very welcoming purpose-designed care home in Fulham, south west London. Our experienced team provides person-centred residential, nursing, respite care for older people. We also offer sensitive and supportive end of life care. We involve residents and families at every step of the care planning journey, from creating individualised programmes to discussing any decisions that need to be made. The home has a calm and friendly atmosphere which helps people to feel settled very quickly. Many residents have lived in Fulham for a long time and we support each person to maintain their links with the community. And we always celebrate the diverse cultural occasions that are important to residents.

Responsible To

Home Manager

Key Responsibilities

•You will be a qualified and experienced Nurse, RGN or RMN who has a proven track record
•You will provide leadership within the clinical team and be a Nurse RGN or RMN that leads by example and acts as a champion for resident’s safety and dignity.
•To maintain skills and knowledge and be a champion for ensuring the team is fully up to date with best practice guidelines
•Be a supportive mentor to the wider team in regards to up skilling non clinical staff and supporting new members of the team.
•Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used
•Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice

Skills & Experience

Experience of working with older people is required as are excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to plan, allocate and delegate work appropriately

Qualifications

RGN or RMN is essential along with evidence of PREP (Post-registration Education & Practice).
