We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the American Beverage Association funded project, led by Professor Jason Halford and Dr Jo Harrold in the Human Ingestive Behaviour Laboratory and studying the effects of non-nutritive sweetened beverages on appetite during active weight loss.
You will be responsible for screening volunteers, running study days (preparing and serving food, anthropometric and biological measurements, questionnaires and cognitive tasks) and assisting with administration of a weight management programme. You should have a degree in Psychology or related subject with a good knowledge of data entry and analysis software (Microsoft Excel; SPSS) and experience in food preparation in a research environment. You should be highly focused, reliable, flexible in your working hours, and organised, accurate and conscientious in your work. The post is available until 31 May 2017 initially.
