Sales Manager - Oncology
A specialist medical device manufacturer focused on oncology, our proprietary system is at the forefront of medical technology offering unique therapy for some of the most difficult to treat cancers. We have reached a stage in our evolution that provides an excellent opportunity for a Country Manager / Sales Manager to capitalise on our success in the UK and Ireland and to build a team.
SALARY: £75,000-£85,000
BENEFITS: Car allowance. Bonus. Healthcare.
LOCATION: Covering the UK and Ireland this role could be based anywhere in the UK, it will probably help to be in easy reach of an airport but very flexible.

JOB SPECIFICATION:
We have a long track record of research and development in the oncology sector, our focus has been on developing new therapies for the treatment of primary and secondary liver cancer. The process of development and clinical trial is on-going but in Europe we have built solid foundations for increased commercialisation. We were awarded CE mark approval three years ago, we have representation in 6 European countries, we have now treated several hundred patients across 22 specialist centres and the data is showing impressive results. To support this growing success we are starting to see national reimbursement awards. We now need a Country Manager for the UK and Ireland to build on what has been achieved thus far, this will involve managing the specialist centres that are already using our system whilst developing relationships and trial acceptance at the remaining specialist centres. You will devise and
implement a sales and marketing plan to further establish the organisation and the brand, success with this will inevitably lead to forming your own team.
REQUIREMENTS – Sales Manager – Oncology
* You will have an educational background in health sciences and ideally this will be supplemented with business related qualifications.
* A track record of sales in the medical device or pharmaceutical sector.
* Knowledge of the oncology/cancer treatment market is definitely a plus as is experience of launching new products or technology.
* You will have the ability and desire to build the organisation, the brand and a team in the UK.
* As a country manager you will be expected to devise and deliver a sales and marketing strategy.
* Strong organisation and communication skills, able to develop relationships with all the internal stakeholders in other departments and countries.
* Experienced developing relationships with KOL’s, medical societies and purchasing agencies.
* Experience in working with healthcare, insurance and /or reimbursement bodies will be an advantage.
