At Cargiant, UK’s leading car supermarket we are looking to recruit a trustworthy and confident Security Guard to join our onsite Security team. The role requires a dedicated individual who is able to work the night shift to ensure the company’s premises and values are fully secure at all times alongside ensuring that all employees and customers follow company procedures in a professional compliant manner.

As the first point of contact for our customers it is vital to provide the highest level of customer service with a positive can-do attitude at all times.

The role:

• Ensure the site is safe


• Ensure all cars on site are locked


• Book in and out cars passing through the gates on our inhouse system


• Check ID numbers are correct from drivers when driving out and correct location is input on to the system


• CCTV monitoring between patrols and ensure that site property is safe at all times


• Ensure all customers comply with the rules and regulations of the company


• Look for possible break-ins and contact the emergency services where applicable


• Report any issues or faults occurred during the shift to the Security Manager

Essential competencies:

• Experience working in a customer facing environment


• Strong communication skills
