Senior Lecturer (Educational Psychology)

Manchester Metropolitan University

Manchester Metropolitan University

Average weekly working hours: 18.50

Department

The Faculty of Health, Psychology and Social care has over 2,900 students studying a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, research and professional qualifications across a range of professional Health, Psychology and Social Care disciplines. Our 250 academic and professional support staff are highly regarded by our students and their peers for the accredited and registered programmes that they provide.

We work closely with employers, partners and voluntary organisations to ensure that our students are prepared for their future professional careers resulting in over 95% of our students being in graduate or management positions 6 months after graduation.

We work hard to ensure that our programmes are professionally relevant and directly related to the needs of employers; our undergraduate programmes alone are registered, accredited and recognised by over seven professional and regulatory bodies.

There is a clear enthusiasm for developing programmes that offer students meaningful engagement, with the breadth of psychology as a professional area of study. Our programmes are approved and accredited by the British Psychological Society and underpinned by a strong organisational structure and inclusive ethos. These strengths greatly enhance the student experience and this is reflected in our exceptional NSS results and the large numbers of applications that we receive year on year.
