Supporter Communications Officer
FTC – 6 months
You probably know something about Which? already. We’re the people who test everything from dishwashers to digital cameras. We’re the people who stand up for consumers. We’re the people who offer expert, independent advice.
But did you also know that we’re a major force in digital publishing? That we’re creating innovative products and services all the time? Or that the profits from these are used to support our charitable work?
There’s so much more to us than you might think.
What you’ll be doing
We have an exciting opportunity for a Supporter Communications Officer to join our Supporter Strategy and Engagement Team. This fast moving, creative and innovative team has delivered industry leading activity and engagement levels from supporters, new and old.
As we move to extend our supporter engagement, we are looking for someone to use their creativity and insight to produce new digital content to welcome supporters and build lasting relationships. Working closely with our Consumer Actions Initiative (CAI) team, you will be responsible for
- Producing digital and campaign content to welcome supporters from our free sites, in particular Which? University and Which? Consumer Rights
- Producing ongoing content to maximise activity in Which?’s campaigning work and services
- Ensuring the data is well managed and monitored in our CRM and producing recommendations for improvement.
What we’re looking for
- Strong email (and other digital content) copywriting skills
- Experience using CRM systems and associated tools to deliver strong levels of engagement (Blue State Digital Tools experience is an advantage)
- An inquisitive mind with a record of using data and statistics to enhance communications
- Good communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks
- Good all round IT skills and basic understanding of HTML
What we offer
We’ll expect a lot of you, but you can expect just as much in return. Which? has one of the most comprehensive rewards packages around – one that includes a generous pension scheme, 28 days’ holiday, private medical insurance after 6 months service, free life assurance, interest-free season ticket loan and much more besides.
