Systems Accountant

My client is looking to recruit a fully qualified Systems Development Accountant. This post is part of a dedicated systems development team which has been set up to assist with the implementation of a new Oracle financial system. Key activities will involve systems analysis, data cleansing, designing a new chart of accounts, mapping data between the old system (SAP) and new system (Oracle), and creating acceptance testing scripts and testing. There will be some gap analysis and business process re-engineering.
Experience Required:
• CCAB qualified or equivalent
• Experience of using SAP Financials
• IT system interrogation and spreadsheet skills
• Provide clear and impartial professional advice and objective financial analysis
• Challenge effectively, and give and receive constructive feedback
• Experience of using SAP AR/AP and other financial modules
• Oracle expertise
• System development skills
• Experience in financial accounting (IFRS) including financial accounting systems maintenance
