£26-30k per annum – London based – 12 month contract

The role


As a growing and fast paced organisation the Humanitarian Leadership Academy (Academy) requires high levels of administrative coordination and solutions. This role will coordinate the overall administrative systems and processes for the Global Academy Office, service the needs of the Board of Trustees and support the smooth running of essential business activities and development of administrative processes.


The Academy


The Humanitarian Leadership Academy is a new global start-up networked organisation whose mission is to empower people around the world to prepare for and respond to crises in their own countries. The Academy works with organisations from the not-for-profit, public and private sector, technology industry and universities to help local communities across the world to become more resilient in the face of disaster.


The candidate


The successful candidate for this role will have experience in forming and guiding knowledge management for offices over multiple sites. They will know how to introduce and embed standard ways of working across a fast paced small global organisation.


They will be highly organised with proven skills in budget management, organising events and small scale project management. They will have a thorough understanding of and experience in recruiting and on boarding new staff.


Flexibility in approach to working and being able to respond at short notice will be essential attributes for this position. Along with an ability to work on own initiative, forward thinking and applying excellent planning and time management skills to all tasks and activitie
