The role
One of the main objectives of the Humanitarian Leadership Academy (the ‘Academy’) is to work with the humanitarian sector to design and deliver high-quality learning programmes for local responders. This specialist role will lead the mapping of existing humanitarian learning activities and design of innovative humanitarian learning initiatives in partnership with the Academy Centres and the wider humanitarian sector.
The Humanitarian Learning Manager must be able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and have demonstrated experience managing multiple large scale projects and providing oversight and support to the Academy’s Centres and partners.

We are a new global start-up networked organisation whose mission is to empower people around the world to prepare for and respond to crises in their own countries. We work with organisations from the not-for-profit, public and private sector, technology industry and universities to help local communities across the world to become more resilient in the face of disaster.
About you
You will have extensive experience in technical interventions in humanitarian assistance especially in the area of capacity building. Your broad understanding of rights and development issues and the international humanitarian system will enable you to fully appreciate individuals, and broader organizational, development needs in a changing landscape.
