Infrastructure Project Manager

I currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager for an IT consultancy based in the city.

Main Duties

• Be the single point of contact for all clients and internal stakeholders


• Present a level of technical grounding to ensure effective communication, active management and identification of risks


• Day to day management of the client / project resourcing requirements


• Travel to client sites as required


• Direct communication with customers to ensure smooth delivery of engagements


• Preparation of project reporting documentation: Project Workbook / MS Project Plans


• Control of the documentation review process


• Review of technical documentation pre external release


• Providing reporting to the head of project management as required


• Define the risk profiles for each project, maintain and manage the risk and issue log for each project, put in place contingency plans to minimise business risk.


• Ensures that project methodology is followed for all projects and documentation is controlled and kept up to date.


• Drive and motive project teams with clear communication of expectations and deliverables.


• Maintain a change control and impact

Required Skills

• The following skills are essential:


• Proven experience of successful lead Project Management


• Experience and evidence of project delivery methodology


• Excellent communication skills both written and oral


• Project based qualifications(s) such as Prince 2 Practitioner


• Knowledge of the Hosted Managed Services and Cloud computing delivery


• Enterprise experience of MS Project


• Experience and evidence of IT project delivery methodology

Salary 50-60k
