Head of Inside Sales – Salary up to £70k Basic + Uncapped Commission OTE £100k – £120k + Benefits

Our client is a fast growing business information SAAS provider who provide online lead generation solutions to large corporations including the majority of the FTSE 100. They are at the forefront of the FinTech revolution taking placing in London and have ambitious plans to grow the sales team.


About the role of Head of Inside Sales


We are looking to recruit for a Head of Inside Sales to help set up; grow, drive and develop an Inside Sales team who will be responsible for selling SAAS solutions to SME’s across the UK.


We are seeking a talented sales professional who enjoys being hands on and selling whilst leading front the front and managing / inspiring other Sales Executives around them.


As the founding member of the inside sales team, you’ll lead a group that forges relationships with the world’s most savvy users of business information, from financial services institutions to technology companies.


You will manage the sales process for new prospective customers throughout the sales cycle for both warm and cold leads. Typical activities include following up with marketing generated leads, independently generating leads, web demonstrations, writing proposals, negotiating, and closing business. This is a high impact and quota-carrying position and therefore would not suit someone who just wants to sit back and manage a team.


Candidate Requirements


  • Experience of setting up, managing and growing an Inside Sales team

  • Minimum of 3 years Sales Management experience

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets

  • Hands on Sales Manager who enjoys selling and leading from the front

  • Experience of working within SAAS or Business Information

  • Ability to coach and mentor other Sales Executives

  • Passionate about sales and inspiring others around them

  • Excellent presentation skills
