Job Title: HR Manager (Maternity Cover)


Duration: approximately one year


Report to: Group Financial Director


A great opportunity for an experienced HR manager (Maternity Cover ) has arisen to join a successful and well regarded food company, , based in our Park Royal London headquarter, the successful candidate will work in a standalone role to ensure a smooth running of all HR duties of over 300 staff across the UK.


The HR Manager will work closely with the Management to help promote the values of the organization, to provide general HR advice and support line managers with all HR-related activities, to attract and retain the best talent in the industry.


Responsibilities


  • Manage the recruitment process, screen CVs, arrange and conduct interviews .

  • Produce documents including job descriptions, offer letters, contracts, etc.

  • Deal with all disciplinary/grievance and absence management.

  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with UK employment law.

  • Be main point of contact for all HR queries and advice in the head office, provide professional HR solutions, guidance and support to the store Managers of different sites across UK

  • Oversee and administer all HR benefits and procedures, co-ordinate and communicate them to all staff

Personal Specification


  • Degree or with equivalent experience, you’ll have a sound HR generalist background with excellent knowledge,

  • Previous experience in managing the full range of duties across the HR function; including recruitment, ER, L&D., redundancy, managing or coordinating HR projects

  • Experience of operating in a multi-divisional and multi-cultural organization with high volume employee numbers

  • Confident in handling all aspects of employee relations, adaptable and can maintain a calm demeanour under pressure.

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of current employment legislation and HR best practice.

  • Working autonomously and effectively to deliver a high quality HR service to the business

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, and strong IT skills

  • Good attention to detail, time management and a proactive “can do” approach to complex solutions

  • Chinese-speaking will be highly desirable, but not essential
