Environmental Health Officer

Morgan Hunt are seeking to recruit a number of experienced Environmental Health officers to work for different Local Authorities based in London. The candidates that we are looking for will ideally specialise with one of the following functions:

* Food safety

* Air pollution control

* Noise control

* Environmental Enforcement

* Housing Inspections – HHSRS

You will be part of a team responsible for:

* To enforce procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

* The will be advised of specialist areas of the team and thus specialist experience required.

The successful candidate should have:

• Full clean driving licence as you’re required to visit properties at various locations.


• A basic DBS check will be required as you will be required to deal with vulnerable tenants.


• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.


• At least 1 years post qualification experience working as an EHO as you will be required to apply relevant knowledge of legislation within the role.


• Able to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds
