The Harris Federation has 37 Academies in and around London, with more than three quarters of our inspected Secondary Academies rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, and every Harris Academy inspected so far judged to be ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’.

Our Harris Graduate Programme offers school-based Teaching Assistant placements to graduates interested in teaching. Our programme provides invaluable school and classroom experience which will enable you to develop the knowledge and skills you need to access teacher training. We can help start you on the journey to becoming an outstanding educator.

If you are recent 2016 university graduate who is interested to gain initial classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant, we want to hear from you. We are looking to speak with graduates of Maths, Science, English, History, Geography and Languages.

Working as part of a highly experienced, collaborative and talented team at one of our academies, your role will be to provide support, either as 1:1 tuition, or to small groups of students with varying abilities in Maths, Science, English, History, Geography or Languages. You will be encouraging and supporting individual pupils to reach their full potential, whilst demonstrating a creative and determined attitude that will help motivate students. You will be directly supporting the students with their Mathematics, Science, English, History,Geography and Languages, as well as helping to organise the teaching and learning resources available to students and staff.
