I am requiting for a NQT of Geography at a Secondary School in Croydon; the school is near the border with Bromley and is in a leafy suburb – boasting fantastic facilities and grounds. The school has a Good Ofsted and has a growing sixth form – ideal for a NQT looking to grow and develop as a practitioner.

The interview will take place on Thursday 10th March:

• 9am arrival – refreshments and meet the senior team


• Tour of the school


• Meet the department


• Observe a lesson/act up as a TA (Team Teach)


• Debrief and conditional offers made


• *Return on Friday 11th or Monday 14th to teach a lesson and have an informal interview with the head

During a recent visit to the school I spent time in lessons and came away with a strong sense of a school that is focused on delivering fantastic outcomes for the students they serve. Having also met several staff at the school and both the executive head and head teacher, I am impressed with the vision and ethos of the school and wider trust to prepare their students for adult life and believe working at this school is a rewarding experience.
