TGSR is working on behalf of an established client, that is looking to hire two experienced Senior and Planning consultants, to join their experienced team based in London

Person Specification

• Have relevant Planning University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably with chartered membership or working towards


• Have good understanding of current planning issues and statutory planning processes such as TCPA, DCO, TWAO and Hybrid Bill for infrastructure projects


• Be able to write and review technical reports


• Previous experience in planning policy, planning application and related areas including EIA would be an advantage


• Having experience of working in public and private sector would be an advantage

Duties

• Deliver a range of planning projects by managing resources, building capability and capacity, and driving technical excellence in the field of infrastructure planning


• Assist the team in delivery of Development Consent Orders and/or Transport and Works Act Orders in support of major infrastructure investment


• Write and review planning deliverables to a very high standard


• Assist the planning team in delivering large-scale planning and environmental projects


• Work on planning activities such as consents management and environmental co-ordination


• Identifying potential health and safety hazards of specific projects
