KS2 ASD Teacher





QTS Primary ASD Class Teacher
Greenwich, London
We are currently recruiting for a classroom teacher to work within an ASD class in KS2. The school is a Primary special school for children and young people with a wide range of special educational needs, a high proportion of whom have a diagnosis of autism.
The school has very small class sizes (typically 6-8 pupils per class) with a high ratio of staff to pupils. We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner, ideally with experience of working with secondary ASD pupils, although applicants who have gained their experience within a primary age setting this will be considered. The vacancy is to start ASAP and is on a full time, long term basis with a view to a permanent position.
The successful candidate will:

*Be a motivated classroom teacher who will work with a group of six pupils with Autism and moderate to severe cognitive barriers to learning, supported by two Teaching Assistants
*Also have Imagination, creativity and a highly developed sense of responsibility with a desire to motivate and enthuse all our pupils.


The school has great facilities and is close to transport links with ample parking on-site
