This is a fabulous opportunity to join this upmarket contemporary Art Gallery based at Olympic Park in Stratford.

This is a commercial contemporary gallery who sell both original paintings & limited edition prints. There is a wide range of styles of contemporary art. The artwork is really STUNNING & a great product to sell.Please note: this is a target driven SALES MANAGER role, so you must be target orientated & hungry to make sales/commission.

Please do not apply unless you have sales (high end retail/luxury goods are preferable but any will be considered) experience & are focused on a career in Sales. As this is a Manager’s role, you will still be selling & working to targets, as well as staff management, rota’s, stock mgt etc.

The role will involve a combination of reacting to the Gallery footfall, but also more proactive sales using the client database and general sales/marketing – this gallery’s footfall can be low so you will do a lot of proactive marketing. You MUST also have an outgoing/vibrant & highly confident personality – again, please do not apply unless your personality matches this description!

A general interest in Art is required, but nor do you need to be an expert either – a willingness & enthusiasm to learn is key!

You will work roughly 3 out of 4 weekends per month (with days off during the week if you work the weekend). A driving license is highly desirable as they do home approvals/consultations, where you take the art out to their home (expenses paid if you use your own car)
