Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Nurse Practitioner

A new opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our fantastic team at Ealing Urgent Care Centre, Middlesex.

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be vital to the Units’ success, assessing, diagnosing, treating and discharging patients autonomously every day as well as the provision of a quality nurse led service to patients attending the Ealing UCC. You must be able to assess patients, plan their care, administer treatment and discharge them or refer them as appropriate to other healthcare professionals / external agencies.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role, you will have:
Have extensive recent experience in acute / primary care nursing
Prioritise patient care throughout the unit, assuming shift leader responsibility allocating staff and resources effectively, as and when rostered to this function
Support junior staff with supervision and development
Take the lead role in event of any major incident within the unit

Qualifications

1st level Registered Nurse with current registration with the UK Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC)
Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
Post registration qualification in autonomous practice or equivalent
Recognised Precribing qualification is desirable
