Account Executive - Greater London Territory
Account Executive, London, is responsible for driving adoption and sales of Myriad tests to NHS and private physicians, hospitals and laboratories in the greater London Area. The Account Executive will have sales and support responsibility for the entire Myriad portfolio of reference laboratory and kit based products.
Job Requirements
- Develop and execute impactful territory business and account plans deriving from intimate knowledge of accounts’ opportunities and decision maker network to consistently exceed territory sales goals
- Promote and sell Myriad tests and services to key clinicians and account stakeholders
- Regularly meet and follow- up with key customers and their staff
- Educate key clinicians, business managers and their supporting staff about clinical, patient and business benefits of Myriad’s tests and services
- Partner with key stakeholders in hospitals, clinics or private offices for effective patient identification and testing around cancer prevention
- Develop and maintain strong customer, product and service market knowledge
- Provide regular market insights and collaborate with other parts of the organization (e.g. Marketing, Medical, Access)
- Plan and document customer visits, capture learnings and provide analysis of sales data and market trends
- Maintain Company and Industry compliance rules.
- 5+ years sales experience in medical laboratory diagnostics, medical devices and / or pharmaceutical market selling complex products
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Life Sciences preferred), further background in biology, laboratory medicine, medical technology a plus.
- Outstanding sales track record
- Passionate about selling, partnering and networking with customers
- Existing customer network in London and surroundings with private institutions and clinicians in the area of oncology, gynecology and pathology
- Familiarity with lab based testing in regulated clinical lab environment and reimbursement topics.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and experience in handling of complex accounts
- Dynamic team player who can function effectively in a matrix environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
