Audit Senior
Prestigious Top 100 Firm, large enough to attract some prestigious clients and to accommodate career progression yet small enough to retain that ‘family feel’ now has an exciting opportunity for a high calibre audit senior. Main responsibilities include:-
Planning audits;
Budgeting the time and cost of the audit including evaluating actuals to budget;
Clearing review points from the Manager/Partner in order to finalise audits, involving communication with clients where necessary to resolve audit issues;
Ensuring all sections of an audit file are correct and completed in a timely manner ensuring that all statutory disclosures have been made;
Preparing tax returns for the client;
Supervising and training junior members of the team;
Providing job appraisals for junior members of the team ensuring development areas are raised if necessary;
Carrying out other ad hoc duties and exercises as determined by circumstances or agreed with partner/manager.
The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified with first time passes gained a mid-tier or top 100 accountancy practice. In addition they will be hard-working, have excellent communication skills and the drive to progress.
