Bid Writer / Tender / Proposals Manager
Talented Bid Writer / Tender / Proposals Manager required for a successful business near Croydon.
Salary: 30 – 40k p.a.
OVERALL PURPOSE:
To support the Service and Business Development Directors in the preparation of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Tenders by writing method statements and ensuring that all bids are compliant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES for the Bid Writer / Tender / Proposals Manager
• Prepare PQQ and ITT documentation for the bid-writing process.
• Carry out research to support planned bid responses.
• Prepare and review check-lists of key PQQ and ITT requirements.
• Produce, review and edit written responses for PQQ’s and Tenders, including method statements and other supporting documents.
• Organise bid time-lines and ensure all outputs are prepared on time.
• Ensure all tender documentation is presented to a high standard.
• Prepare and include graphics such as flow charts, diagrams and organisation charts as required.
• Ensure submissions are prepared in good time to meet deadlines
• Update, refresh and maintain the company’s Bid Library
Key skills / experience / qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of 2-years’ experience in bid writing within the heating, M&E, Facilities Management, Construction or related industries
• Strong IT literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent writing skills including construction and use of headings, signposting, secure grammar and technical accuracy.
• Ability to think clearly under pressure
