Digital Content Manager





Our client is seeking a Digital Content Manager who is immediately available for a six-month temporary position in their London Editorial office.


The Digital Content Manager has two main areas of responsibility: creating a weekly digital content plan for review and approval by the New York office, and managing the execution of the plan to the highest possible level.


To create the plan, you will work with the European Marketing team and two London-based producers to identify all digital content needs in support of the European offices. You will then present the plan to the stakeholders for review.


To execute the plan, you will manage the workflow of the two producers in London, while also working with the companies CMS to produce slideshows, articles and other content on their website.


The successful candidate must be highly organised, technically proficient, a creative problem solver and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Our client is a multinational organisation. Originally a British brand, their headquarters are now based in New York, however have multiple other offices in London and across Europe. Our client generate most of their revenue through consumer sales and boast revenues of over $800 million.


Description


The main responsibilities of this role include:


  • Meet regularly with Marketing Managers & Sr. Editor to identify content production needs in Europe.

  • Create a weekly Content Plan for review and approval in New York.

  • Assign and oversee the work of two London-based Producers.

  • Produce slideshows, articles and other content on all digital channels.

  • Gather and organize auction-related content for the magazine.

Profile


As there is an element of urgency in the role, any digital marketing professionals who apply for this role, must be immediately available. In addition to this, the entry requirements for this role are as followed:


  • Experience in digital content using a CMS.

  • Relevant experience in a B2C environment.

  • Proficient with using Photoshop.

  • Excellent organisational, writing and communications skills.

  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Job Offer


The organisation we are working with are initially offering a 6 month temporary contract with the view of making it permanent at the end of the contract.
