Ecommerce Trading Executive





We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Ecommerce Trading Executive to join our ecommerce team at Habitat. Reporting to the Ecommerce Trading Manager, this would be an excellent opportunity for a junior trading executive to develop and progress their skills with an established and iconic homeware and furniture retailer.

You will be responsible for support the wider trading team to ensure our ecommerce channel delivers best in class content across the website. You will ensure that the website is constantly optimised and that all initiatives are delivered ‘right first time’, working closely with the wider ecommerce, Digital Marketing and Merchandising teams.

Key Responsibilities:


Conduct regular site walks to ensure all products are live and correctly merchandised, working closely with the wider team to resolve any issues
Action daily categorisation of products across the website
Work with B&M to optimise category sequencing, in line with weekly objectives
Prepare for site refreshes or launches by building the navigation, setting up and merchandising categories, coordinating and communicating actions to wider Content and Digital Marketing teams
To produce daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports
Manage promotions setup and end-to-end promotions testing
Ensure website trading tools e.g. shared online planning calendar, weekly website planner are updated in an accurate and timely manner to support ‘right first time’ delivery


About you:


Customer focused with previous experience working in a similar role
A demonstrable passion for the brand and understanding of the product ranges
A logical thinker & problem solver who is highly commercial and numerate
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Highly organised and adept at prioritising workload
Confident, clear and effective communicator at all levels
Ability to work well as part of a team under pressure
Intermediate MS Excel skills (desired)
Magento experience (desired)
