Infrastructure Engineer
Infrastructure Engineer is required for a unique opportunity to work for an award winning Managed Service Provider who are a Microsoft Gold Partner, VMware Partner and Citrix Partner along with being accredited to or partners with most of the other leading technology providers. As their Infrastructure Engineer you will be based in their easily accessible Central London office maintaining and optimising their vast global infrastructure. The majority of their clients are smaller, top end professional services clients, so someone who has been supporting smaller environments will be beneficial for this role.
Benefits & Package:
The Infrastructure Engineer will receive a competitive salary £35,000-£50,000 (depending on experience), bonus and exciting benefits package with clear career progression available to move into a wide range of roles. You will mentor the junior IT technicians and the organisation would look for this talented individual to grow into a number of potential role including cross technology growth or technical SME/Architect. This Infrastructure Engineer will spent the lots of their time carrying out global project, implementing new systems and upgrades and managing customers’ accounts.

Essential Infrastructure Engineer skills:
* Experience running the entire Infrastructure for an SME organisation or working for an IT services/MSP organisation
* 5-8 years+ working with Infrastructure technologies
* Windows Server (up to 2012R2)
* Windows Desktop (7 to 10)
* Exchange
* Virtualisation
* Citrix
* Storage
* Other Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, SCCM, SCOM etc.
* Networking- VOIP, Routers, Switches, Firewalls etc.
Beneficial experience would be account management or pre-sales experience.
The role:
* Architect/communicate solutions to clients.
* Build excellent relationships with clients.
* Support the Sales team
* Scope, Design, Delivery and Project Management new technical solutions
* Documentation
The ideal Infrastructure Engineer will be a talented individual who is passionate about technology and taking ownership of their work. They will be a driven leader, analytical in troubleshooting, well organised with an inquisitive mind-set. The Infrastructure Engineer will be working in a small team where you will be the lead of a number of projects. You must be comfortable working within a smaller environment where you have full ownership of your work.
