Marketing Executive
Leading specialist technology company based in new offices in the City of London require a Marketing Executive to join their Sales and New Business team. As a stand-alone marketing role, supporting the requirements of the business, the daily roles include:
- Developing email marketing campaigns via a marketing automation system;
- maintaining and updating our WordPress website;
- liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations;
- communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships;
- sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press or on the radio;
- writing and proofreading copy;
- liaising with designers and printers;
- liaising with external agencies including PR, PPC & SEO;
- arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;
- maintaining and updating prospect and customer databases;
- organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;
- conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups;
- contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
- managing budgets;
- evaluating marketing campaigns;
- monitoring competitor activity;
- supporting the Sales Director and other colleagues.
The business has a fully functioning marketing base including a recently refreshed brand image, website and collateral. With a good structure in place the role requires an individual who can come in and own the role as an extension of the Sales team. The work is challenging and fast-paced and requires a knowledge of IT and new technologies therefore experience of working in the industry is highly desirable.
