Timothy James Consulting are working alongside a leading organisation in the IT Security arena as they look to appoint a Managed Security Services Engineer to join their rapidly expanding organisation.

The role provides a fundamental part of their Managed Security Services (MSS) delivery team. The primary purpose of the MSS Engineer position is to provide first class support to customers and uphold the quality of the service delivered.

Main Accountabilities:
?Servicing customer requests (Support/Changes) through Phone/Email/Online/Onsite
?Driving service quality / improvement
?Ensuring service levels met
?Knowledge sharing with team members
?Issue resolution

Skills / Experience
You will need to have a proven IT security background within a consultancy or support environment.
Proven experience working on large-scale network and security transformation projects.
Strong experience in architecting diverse security solutions.
Proven network security knowledge across multiple security domains.

Technical Product Knowledge of:
•Networking (Cisco, Juniper, HP etc.)
•Firewalls – Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX/SSG, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Mcafee
•Application Security – F5, Barracuda, Citrix
•IDS/IPS
•Architecture principals
•Authentication (SSO, 2FA, Radius, LDAP etc.)
